Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead an engineering team to build and maintain enterprise applications at scale with heavy focus on operational and engineering excellence.
Be accountable for the software deliverables to meet all requirements of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, testability etc.
Continuously improve engineering and delivery practices to increase quality, velocity, productivity and to provide better visibility on the progress of work.
Mentor the team and invest in continuous development of high-performing team of engineers by enforcing a sense of pride and ownership in the work they do.
Ensure work is planned, estimated, scheduled, and delivered on-time with high quality.
Own the technical architecture, drive engineering design, and shoulder critical decisions
Work effectively with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, developers, and QA to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap and release plans
Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team to be a high-performance team.

Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
10+ years of Software Development experience with 3+ years of experience in managing tech teams;
Demonstrated Coding ability with one or similar of the following: Java, or Go;
Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
Experience building Microservices and using Containers/Container Orchestration systems such as Docker and/or Kubernetes;
Great problem-solving skills, and experience working with cloud ecosystems such as AWS.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra
Strong technical skills and working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading significant software projects/products
Strong interpersonal and speaking, writing, and presentation skills
Experience in analyzing performance & debugging Enterprise Applications & Systems
Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Elastic Search, DataDog would be an added advantage.
