Working within Product Engineering, your mission will be to play an active role in identifying and testing key features of the product. Apart from building automation test scripts, you should be able to develop well-planned and structured test plans/cases. You should also be able to mentor, guide and train other engineers. You should be able to evaluate the product requirements, time limitations and system limitations when developing automation tests and be up to date on new technologies and software testing practices.
Job Summary
- Gain an understanding of the product requirements and develop automation suites to test the product during development and release phase
- Devising ways to improve the software testing process to ensure higher-quality releases.
- Ensure high level of automation and reducing time to market
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing use cases
- Participate in automation and performance testing
- Be the voice of customer for quality and user experience
- Testing the system for Performance, Load and Scale testing
- Testing for Robustness and Resiliency
- Endurance / Soak testing
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize performance test activities
- Product functionality, robustness, resiliency, endurance testing
- Prepare automation scripts to gather system information during testing
- Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
- Suggest automated software test procedures
- Develop,maintain,execute,andtroubleshootautomationsoftwareissues
- Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
- Assist directly and indirectly in the hiring process and development of technical talent
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience
- 4 to 6 years of professional automation testing experience
- Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
- Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures
- Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium and Cucumber
- Experience with Cypress and REST Assure
- Understanding of testing protocols
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working experience in performance, longevity, load or endurance testing
Preferred qualifications
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage project deadlines
- Testing of database, of telecom or call center systems
- Testing of Web application
- Testing in AWS or GCP
