Unison commenced operations in 2003 and today invests in real estate and infrastructure hosting wireless and renewables tenants in the United States and Europe. The Team:
The Unison team is looking for a passionate, experienced organization leader to develop, manage and advance a pipeline of priority leads from contact to closing and to build and coach team of sales representatives responsible for advancing their personal origination pipelines. Reporting to the Global Managing Director of Origination, the MD is responsible for helping grow the company by cultivating relationships with real estate property owners, contributing to sales operations strategies, and by managing the performance of a team of direct-report sales representatives.
The Job:
Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing.
Build and develop 4-5 person direct-to-customer origination team.
Assist originators with full sales cycle from negotiation to close.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for self and for team.
Rigorously monitor personal and team origination activity to ensure healthy and stability of sales pipeline.
Collaborate with leaders across the organization to continuously improve origination operations programs such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives.
Contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position.
Provide leadership and inspiration to direct team and demonstrate highest standards of professionalism and collaboration.
Required Education and Experience:
10+ years of progressive B2C origination and leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience building and leading a highly effective origination team within an entrepreneurial organization experiencing rapid growth.
Exceptional negotiation skills required.
Experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close required.
Familiarity with finance concepts such as IRR and NPV required.
Familiarity with real estate closing process preferred.
Experience originating within commercial real estate, mortgages, telecom, mineral rights acquisition, or renewables industries preferred.
Bachelor's degree required.
