The Team:
The Unison team is looking for a passionate Human Resources professional to build and help to lead Unison’s core HR and talent management activities. Reporting to the COO and CFO, the Human Resources Manager will ensure timely and accurate administration of payroll, design and implement incentive compensation plans, ensure compliance with global employment regulations, partner with senior leadership to develop effective recruiting processes in domestic and international markets, select and administer the company’s benefits programs, and lead talent management programs throughout the company including recruiting and training. The Director of Global HR will foster a culture of engagement and empowerment within a multi-cultural and rapidly growing organization.
The Job:
· Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in all countries in compliance with laws and regulations.
· Analyze, design, and implement compensation programs for commissioned and non-commissioned employees.
· Manage the year-end performance management cycle.
· Build and evolve an HR function supporting all employees and managers including management of the entire employee lifecycle and experience (i.e. attract, recruit, develop, perform, retain, separate, re-skill).
· Develop and manage all internal policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal governing laws.
· Evaluate, select, implement, and manage benefits and compensation programs that attract and retain top talent.
· Implement effective recruiting processes and practices and manage internal key vendors.
· Oversee selection and management of payroll vendor partners.
· Implement and manage the processes and controls that ensure total compliance with regulatory agencies and optimize the benefit administration processes.
Required Education and Experience:
· 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience within a public or private company.
· Demonstrated experience building and leading a Human Resources and recruiting function within an entrepreneurial organization experiencing rapid growth.
· Bachelor's degree and SPHR certification required. MBA a plus.
· Experience leading Human Resources at a company with multi-national operations.
· Demonstrated track record of design, development, communication and administration of compensation strategies and plans, including bonuses, commissions, and other compensation methods.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence executives required.
· Fluency in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and other languages is a strong plus.
