We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing software applications using ASP.Net and C#. With 5-6 years of experience in software development, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with legacy code, applying best practices, and implementing feature enhancements to ensure long-term scalability and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using ASP.Net and C#.
- Perform code analysis, modifications, and enhancements to existing codebase.
- Design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to define software requirements and solution designs.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry trends.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for the code and development processes.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ASP.Net, .NET Core and C#.
- Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- Proven experience in working with existing codebases and implementing software enhancements.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.
- Strong experience with API development and Integration using API’s.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or similar) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, TFS, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of VB.NET, Nifi Integration platform.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
