Overview:
Alpha Testing, a Universal Engineering Sciences Company (UES) has an opening in our Construction Services Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.
Rock Engineering & Testing Laboratory (RETL) is looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist the Construction Material Department with the internal setup for new jobs and proposals, compiling reports, invoicing, data entry, filing, report typing, map creation, report preparation and other administrative duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for this position is flexible, and able to move from one project to another, assisting where needed. This position requires an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy in typing. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and exceptional communication skills. No industry experience is necessary, but a positive, upbeat attitude and willingness to learn are a must!
Responsibilities
- Internal set-up of new jobs/proposals
- Compile Engineering reports
- Project invoicing
- Data entry
- Filing
- Create maps for field personnel
- Report Preparation
- Answering phones/ greeting guests
- Ancillary administrative duties
Requirements
- High School Diploma with some college preferred.
- 3 years of administrative experience preferred.
- No industry experience necessary, we will provide all the training you will need!
