Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented Merchant Support Specialist to join our growing Merchant Support team within Acquiring. This is not a traditional customer service role — it involves ownership, problem-solving, and collaboration to drive merchant satisfaction and support strategic growth. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless support for our key merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Managers to troubleshoot and resolve merchant-related issues.
- Liaise with technical, financial, and operational teams to meet merchant needs.
- Monitor VIP merchant traffic and proactively escalate anomalies or risks.
- Manage terminal registration workflows and onboarding activities.
- Track integration timelines, follow up on merchant deliverables, and escalate delays.
- Handle day-to-day merchant requests such as reporting, settlements, banking details, balance management, top-ups, limits, and account discrepancies.
- Set up sandbox environments and manage user access (both internal and merchant-facing).
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and contribute to scalable support initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Business-oriented mindset with a focus on merchant satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or merchant operations is a strong plus.
