Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage new business opportunities (promote and sell Unlimit Accounts (IBAN)) among SMEs and large enterprises in tech, startups, VC-backed firms, investment companies, e-commerce businesses, etc.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new business partners and potential clients.
- Leverage candidates’ existing networks to build a strong pipeline for IBAN onboarding.
- Analyze client businesses to quickly understand their monetization models and risk profiles for successful onboarding.
- Guide clients through the onboarding process, including documentation requirements for Cyprus, the UK, the EU, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other jurisdictions.
- Ensure full compliance with KYC/KYB standards and stay updated on local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance/AML and operations teams to facilitate smooth account openings and ongoing client relationship management.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or Business Development Manager in the banking, acquiring, payments, or corporate services sector.
- In-depth understanding of corporate structures and related documentation in Cyprus, the UK, the EU, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
- Strong working knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML procedures, and business risk assessment.
- Ability to assess a company’s business model and revenue strategy.
- Established connections within the SME, startup, and VC ecosystems across Cyprus, EMEA, and the EU.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage (Greek and Russian are a plus).
