As a Project Manager in the Card Payments, you will lead critical initiatives within Unlimit’s payment processing platform, focusing on transaction processing logic, wallet structure, scheme compliance, and performance optimization. This role combines technical understanding with project leadership to ensure successful delivery of complex projects involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
You will coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, IT, Security, AI, Risk, Compliance, and Finance teams, as well as external partners when required, to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions for global payment processing.

Requirements

    • 3+ years in a project management role, preferably within fintech or payments.
    • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Proven ability to set up Scrum and Kanban processes based on project needs.
    • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and other project tracking tools.
    • Knowledge of client-server architecture, HTTP(s), and REST APIs.
    • Technical background with the ability to analyze APIs and create technical tasks.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to take a risk-based approach to decisions.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage integration and feature development projects for card payment functionality.
    • Define and maintain project timelines, milestones, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with roadmap priorities.
    • Oversee operational aspects of project execution, ensuring high-quality delivery within scope and budget.
    • Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to deliver solutions that meet technical and business requirements.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Manage post-integration monitoring, issue tracking, and continuous improvement of processes.
    • Validate integration completeness through QA and partner confirmations.
    • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to optimize delivery processes.
    • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, and card scheme mandates.
    • Support risk management and mitigation strategies for payment-related projects.

Nice-to-Have

    • Experience in the fintech or payments industry (preferred).
    • Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance and regulatory requirements.
    • Experience working with multiple PSPs, acquirers, and payment integrations.
    • Understanding of security practices and payment infrastructure risks.
