Utilizing non Von Neumann techniques, you will help propel sustainable AI inference.
As part of this talented team of engineers, you are able to - and are excited to - architect, implement, verify and productize custom hardware designs.  Being on our team means collaborating with an extremely bright group of people while tackling tough and interesting problems at the intersection of AI and hardware.

We are looking for a Senior Integrated Circuit Design Engineer.  The desired candidate would have previous exposure to RTL design and logic synthesis,  clocking and timing convergence,  transistor level circuit design,  and FinFET layout implementation.   Experience taking multiple products through design, verification, and product test is also highly desired.

Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Microarchitects, Software Engineers, Logic Engineers, and other Circuit Design Engineers to determine circuit design requirements
    • Develop and generate schematics for custom circuit designs that meet project requirements
    • Oversee physical layout implementation of circuit designs
    • Verify timing, power, functional, and yield performance of circuit designs
    • Lead group design efforts and mentor other engineers

Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
    • Circuit design, Circuit Layout, and VLSI Design
    • Spice simulations, transistor's type, and usage
    • Static Timing Analysis experience
    • Linux or Unix
    • Candidates must be located within North America, preferably in Toronto

Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Exposure to layout and/or schematic entry using Cadence Virtuoso and/or Synopsys Custom Compiler
    • Exposure to FinFET Technology
    • Clock distribution and full chip clocking methods
    • Exposure to Layout Place and Route implementation
    • Exposure to Verilog RTL Development
