As a Sales Development Rep (SDR) you will be a critical contributor at UpGuard. You will be responsible for generating highly qualified sales leads for the inside and field sales teams. By collaborating strategically with your marketing and sales partner(s) to identify, research and target the right leads, contacts and companies in order to deliver the right message at the right time, you will have significant impact on UpGuard’s growth. Selling the most innovative cyber resilience platform in the world will allow you to engage with, educate and solve the problems of some of the largest companies in the world.

Key responsibilities:

    • Strategize with sales and marketing on which companies and personas [within those companies] to target
    • Find the relevant contact information of persons within those companies and reach out via email, LinkedIn and/or phone
    • Build connections and educate your target audience on cyber resilience
    • Qualify prospects & set up meetings for sales
    • Collaborate with marketing to ensure a constant flow of quality leads
    • Work toward monthly and quarterly sales targets

Skills we are looking for:

    • 6 months - 2 years experience in a B2B SDR, sales or other customer-facing role
    • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
    • A results driven personality
    • A proven track record of achieving measurable goals
    • The ability to be a self starter in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent time-management and prioritizing abilities

What we prefer:

    • Experience with cyber security is a plus
    • Experience with enterprise software or SaaS is a plus
    • Sales training is a plus
    • Knowledge of Hubspot is a plus
