Wanted: We are looking for a brilliant, experienced CFO to join the Upright team as we are gearing up for our next growth phase. Impact data is becoming increasingly central in business decision-making and Upright's data is trusted by 200+ institutional investment organizations and corporations, predominantly in Europe and Northern America. We are now looking for an exceptional CFO with international SaaS experience to join Upright.

As a CFO, you will take ownership of Upright’s financial strategy, forecasting, planning and reporting. You will work closely with Upright’s CEO and other leadership to build the operational engine for Upright’s next growth phase. The CFO will also be a key player in potential future funding rounds, own many of Upright’s legal processes and provide strategic business support to other functions. This will be a new role for Upright, which means you will have the opportunity to influence the scope and structures of the role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Owning the financial planning, forecasting and reporting
Coordinating non-revenue financing
Leading potential future funding rounds with the CEO
Leading legal compliance
Owning and developing revenue collection
Providing strategic business support to other functions

SIGNS FOR BEING A GREAT MATCH WITH THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Experience of working as a CFO in an international SaaS growth company
Excellent understanding of SaaS metrics and how to make them work for growth and profitability
Solid track record of internal passion for excellence: you have gotten things done clearly better than what was required/expected from you
Sense of urgency and drive to get the job done
Exceptional communication skills in Finnish and English, both spoken and written

Experience and understanding of the financial sector

Ability to quickly grasp different regulatory frameworks that surround impact data and its provision
