The Upright Project has developed an industry-leading, scalable approach to double materiality assessments which 50,000+ companies in Europe need to conduct according to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We are now on the hunt for a dynamic Norwegian- or Swedish-speaking Account Executive eager to drive our sales and expand Upright's reach in the Nordics. Upright's data platform is trusted by 200+ corporations and institutional investment organizations, predominantly in Northern Europe and America.

In this position, you’ll play a key role in expanding our customer base and Upright's reach in the CSRD data market, owning the sales process from initial contact to deal closure. As a key member of our sales team, you will be at the forefront of introducing Upright’s double materiality assessment data offering to potential customers. You will collaborate closely with our marketing & communications team as well as our sales development representatives. We expect you to be a great team player who enjoys sharing your ideas and knowledge with your colleagues as we want to win as a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •  Owning the whole sales process from initial contact to closing the deal
    • Executing high-quality sales meetings and product demos
    • Keeping the CRM up-to-date
    • Drafting proposals for your customers
    • Negotiating contracts 

SIGNS OF BEING A GREAT MATCH FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

    • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas in SaaS sales
    • Experience in working with a complex B2B product in a startup setting
    • Solid track record of internal passion for excellence: you have gotten things done clearly better than what was required/expected from you, as you enjoy doing things well
    • Sense of urgency and drive to get the job done
    • Exceptional communication skills in Norwegian/Swedish and English, both spoken and written

    • ADDITIONALLY WE’LL CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING AS A PLUS:
    • Understanding of EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
