RKSV Securities was founded by Ravi Kumar and Shrinivas Viswanath in 2009 and was soon graced by Kavitha Subramanian as the third co-founder in 2016. Backed by Ratan Tata, Upstox had raised $4 million in Series A funding in early 2016 that was led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding round scaled multifold and witnessed an investment of $25 million by US-based investment firm - Tiger Global Management in September 2019.

The HRBP will serve as a key player in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance. This role involves collaborating closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, while also addressing the diverse needs of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, excel in multitasking, and thrive in an environment where adaptability and agility are valued.

In your day-to-day role you will:
Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organisational goals.
Provide guidance and support on HR matters to stakeholders.
Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues effectively.
Monitor and enhance employee productivity and performance.
Strategic involvement in the selection process to ensure the recruitment of top talent.
Fostering improved relations between team members and management inorder to nurture a positive working environment.
Implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
Regularly connecting with stakeholders to understand and address people-related challenges.
Active participation in performance appraisal processes to drive high performance.
Utilising innovative methods to attract and retain high-performing employees.
Monitoring employee feedback and adjusting retention efforts as needed.
Create a culture of growth and retention in collaboration with business leaders.
Analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Leading HR projects and initiatives to support business objectives.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive organisational success.

The HRBP will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, reflecting the dynamic nature of our organisation. Individuals in this role must exhibit a confident, can-do attitude and demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

What do you need to bring?
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, demonstrating successful HR strategy development and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 
Strategic mindset with an employee-centric approach to HR, focused on driving business success through effective HR solutions. 
High on ownership, problem solving and strategic thinking skills. 
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
