Role: Sr. QA Manager

We are looking for a Sr. QA manager with a solid experience in quality assurance, the successful candidate will be leading and managing one or more POD QA team/s and will be a single point of contact for all the releases, communications and various stats reports. This is a fast paced environment where the speed of Development and execution are paramount. Be a stakeholder point of contact from QA. This position needs to be very fluent in the manual / automation testing process and take the production releases with the highest quality. The Sr. QA manager must analyse the data gathered and plan accordingly to improve product quality. This position will be accountable for identifying the mistakes and inspecting the procedures. An efficient Sr. QA manager for this position should be competent to continue the business life cycle and attain long term success in the organisation. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Oversee multiple quality engineering teams and manage the testing of complex software systems. Drive the strategic planning of projects and ensure alignment with business objectives. Understand how to manage performance within the team.
Promoting QA standards and best practices across Agile teams, Analyse the data thoroughly to find the areas of growth
Make sure whether the product goes through auditing and testing
Possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes, Review the test plans, test execution reports and tracking all the QA metrics.
Work with Dev Mgrs / Product / Scrum teams to complete root cause analysis and corrective action plans to ensure higher quality test coverage throughout the software development life cycles
Assist leadership on status, risks and their resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance
Drive and contribute to the Manual and Automation test strategy, scripts, and framework focusing on test architecture, re-usability, stability, performance, scalability, and related Quality/team metrics
Keep improving the automation test efficiency and script ability.
Review automated test coverage strategies based on release requirements.
Participate & encourage in peer reviews for test cases, design and code implementation.
Provide hands-on test support when necessary to verify front-end and back-end changes, user workflows, database, API, security, performance, mobile device, browsers Champion agility and improvement in test process
Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders from Product, Dev, Design for better quality.
Assess leadership and communication skills.
Evaluate the team by doing 1:1 meetings, provide constructive feedback.
Leading, mentoring and coaching junior staff – Be that “Go to Person”Part of Hiring and appraisal process.
Mentoring QA Mgr / QA Lead / Sr QA Engineers
Ability to provide the training to upskill the team's soft skills.

Qualifications: Overall 11-16 yrs experience.
Advanced leadership and strategic planning abilities.
Minimum 6 years of experience in manual testing process, creating highly effective test cases using different testing techniques and expertise in system, integration, regression testing and non-functional testing like Performance, usability, compatibility etc.
Around 3-4 years of experience developing automation scripts in Java, Python or TestNG, Pytest framework.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing the QA team/s of both Manual and Automation engineers.
Proficiency in at least one programming language ( Java, Python).Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Handling team conflicts.
Proven track record in managing large-scale software projects.
Solid understanding of Quality Assurance life cycle, test techniques, test methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes (CI/CD Pipeline) and QA best practices
Ability to manage multiple and complex priorities, and to recognize when a change of priority is needed.
Experience with Jenkins, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Selenium, Android Studio/Xcode, TestNG / BDD.
Experience with tools like Jira, Xray, Confluence or any other equivalent test management and defect management tools.
Experience in defining automation test strategies and proficient in designing any of the automation frameworks like Cypress/TestNG/ PyTest/BDD.
Ability to analyse the production issues and able to simulate defects by creating required test data.
Self motivated, persistent, fast learner and innovative.

Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Having experience with Trading and the FinTech domain is an added plus.
Having experience in Mobile Apps (iOS & Android), Web applications.
Having flexibility in switching responsibilities between Manual and Automation.
Having knowledge/experience on RESTFul services
