Here is what you need to know about this role:

Job Title: Content Writer (Full-time)

Location: Mumbai

Job description summary:
Produce well-researched, accurate, and engaging content on topics related to stock market/personal finance. Occasionally,  create and edit comprehensive digital content that aligns with project objectives as required
Continuously monitor statistics to gauge the effectiveness of the copy/content and make improvements as needed
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure the successful implementation of the content strategy across channels
Create scripts for advertisements and product videos
Compose and occasionally edit digital content tailored to meet project goals and address the specific needs of end-users in complex initiatives
Verify that online content adheres to corporate brand standards, web style guide, as well as legal and compliance requirements
Collaborate with fellow writers in the organisation to exchange ideas, leverage expertise, and provide recommendations that are applicable across various channels
Regularly analyse analytics to comprehend user behaviour, enabling the strategic management and shaping of content and messaging strategies
Lead a team of content writers and ensure that their work meets the required TAT and quality levels
Incorporate SEO best practices to enhance the visibility of our content and boost organic traffic
Churn out articles on an immediate basis based on market developments

In your day-to-day role you will:
As a Content Writer, your primary responsibility is to craft high-quality, thoroughly researched, and compelling content centred around stock market, personal finance and business news. You need to stay informed about market trends, economic events, and personal finance developments to produce informative articles that assist our audience in understanding and navigating these shifts. Apply SEO best practices to optimise content visibility and boost organic traffic. Address current market developments promptly by creating timely articles. Furthermore, ensure content meets our style guidelines through meticulous review and editing for clarity and grammar.

What do you need to bring?
Have a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or a related field, coupled with excellent English proficiency
Have 5 years of overall experience in the BFSI domain
Demonstrate high creativity and imagination with an effective writing style that is both fresh and consistent, catering to a customer-friendly approach
Possess a knack for writing, coupled with an understanding of content that resonates well on the internet and social media platforms
Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
Be able to work under pressure, consistently meet tight deadlines and have an eye for detail
Have a knack for editing and proofreading with good research skills
Have an interest in commerce, popular culture, and new advertising trends and techniques
Be knowledgeable about digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
Have hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
Have a portfolio of published articles
