Decisions are at the foundation of every Bounce experience. As a data team member, you will work in a dynamic environment, embracing moving quickly to ensure data is at the heart of Bounce’s products and decision-making.
The focus of this position will be on modeling and pricing, your objective will be to develop data driven strategies to improve the performance of our pricing models and fund opportunities for growth by identifying the optimal places to expand Bounce to new locations. You should have a deep understanding of data analytics and statistical modeling. You will play a critical role in the success of Bounce!
👷🏾♀️ What you’ll be doing
- Leveraging and utilizing data to build frameworks and models to improve pricing, expansion strategy, and market analysis
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and operations to translate analytical insights into action
- Establish metrics and build frameworks to monitor model and product performance
- Help develop and maintain our analytics pipelines, from data transformation to implementation of new models
- Advocate for data and data-driven decisions
- Be an owner, taking a personal stake in the success of the product and the team
✅ Your profile
- Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, applied math, operations research or engineering, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in a data science or technical analytics role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python/R, Jupyter Notebooks
- Experience building and evaluating production-level models and algorithms
- Some experience with data wrangling preferred (dbt)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners
- Avid learner and practical problem solver
- Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken
