We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Consultant to join our Global Delivery Team. As an individual contributor to Delivery and client projects, you will act as a key player in driving successful Marketing Cloud implementations and ensuring technical excellence across various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strong technical prowess, and the ability to support clients in optimizing their processes, implementing technical solutions, and integrating Cloud systems effectively.

In sum, V2's new Marketing Cloud Technical Consultant role is centered around the provision of providing technical expertise (within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud domain) and active contributions to process improvement, project success, and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Process Improvement Consulting:
    • Collaborate with V2 clients to facilitate and implement new concepts within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, transforming and improving business operations
    • Act as the primary point of contact for the work stream, partnering closely with clients, project leadership, and executive teams
    • Apply fundamental process improvement concepts and methodologies, including process/value stream mapping, brainstorming, and design/testing of interventions
    • Identify, collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide valuable insights to project teams
    • Build subject matter expertise in key industries, with a focus on Cloud technology and thought leadership

    • Support Technical Initiatives:
    • Provide technical expertise to support project teams in delivering successful project outcomes within scope, on time, and within budget
    • Assist with project planning, scoping, and identifying technical requirements, timelines, and resources
    • Participate in project status meetings, providing updates on technical progress and addressing any issues
    • Develop technical specifications and requirements documentation to guide the development of project deliverables
    • Support project team members by troubleshooting technical issues and promoting technical best practices
    • Participate in project postmortems, offering feedback on technical successes and areas for improvement

    • Drive Cloud Systems Integration/Salesforce.com Consulting:
    • Recommend and present designs and solutions to clients, translating business requirements into technical specifications
    • Lead the design, configuration, build, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.com features and objects
    • Collaborate with team members on data migrations and data-related activities, using advanced tools such as Salesforce.com Data Loader
    • Remain up-to-date on Salesforce.com platform knowledge through ongoing self-led learning and obtain and maintain appropriate Salesforce.com certifications
    • Provide advisory and guidance to team members across programs

    • Development, Integration, and Data-Related Consulting:
    • Act as the subject matter expert in development, integration, and data-related aspects, recommending and presenting designs and solutions to clients
    • Perform coding, integration, and data-related activities as necessary, recognizing the support of the V2 development team when needed
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely project updates
    • Gather requirements from clients and translate them into technical specifications through workshops and meetings
    • Support change requests, assess their impact, estimate costs and time, and communicate changes to stakeholders

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

    • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing, Sales, Service and/or Experience Cloud implementations and technical leadership
    • 6+ years of Marketing Cloud-centric Suite expertise (including Marketing Cloud Intelligence and Personalization, CDP and Data Cloud)
    • Passion for solving business problems by leveraging technology
    • Process flow optimization and organizational change management experience within a company or as an external consultant
    • Proven ability to frame solution-oriented conversations that address complex business challenges across the prospect-to-cash flow
    • Comfort with driving executive-level conversations and the ability to lead through influence
    • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments
    • Strong organization and communication skills (oral, aural, and written)
    • Analytical curiosity and demonstrated a passion for intellectual challenges
