We are seeking a Director of Operations to join the V2 Global Team. In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Delivery Operations Manager, the new Director or Operations will ensure internally- and externally-facing project teams are supported in appliance of core principles, systems, tools, and practices. This new Director will assist in leading global brands’ Enterprise-level projects while continuing to grow individual knowledge and skills in the areas of project and program management, management consulting, technology consulting, and solution architecture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive improvement of V2’s pre-existing Delivery-based, consultative, systems and processes to support scaling and growth of the organization, in close collaboration with C-Suite and Delivery leadership
- Oversee V2's Project Management Office (including, but not limited to, Delivery-related documentations’ accessibility and compliance with established systems)
- Develop and enhance Delivery documentation (e.g., handbooks, knowledge articles, templates, etc.) to centralize knowledge
- Closely partner with the COO, Finance Team, and Delivery Operations Manager to optimally allocate resources towards external clients’ and internal initiatives’ target utilization
- Formally manage a Delivery People Team; strategic involvement in respective team members’ activities, performance, and growth trajectories
- Continuously evaluate, analyze and improve upon existing Delivery systems and processes with the goal to streamline and improve efficiency across consultative programs
- Identify and mitigate technical risks; develop metrics for measuring technical changes' value; lead and conduct technical process improvement initiatives and change management assessments; apply continuous improvement methodologies
- Execute strategic technology management/monitoring of security, administration, and operations as it pertains to key Company hardware and IT systems
IDEAL BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in technology-related roles, with at least 5+ years' held in management/formal people leadership seat(s)
- 5+ years’ background in successful Salesforce implementation, transformation, and/or administration
- Proven track record of strategic initiative, process optimization, project execution, transformation management, and/or organizational growth leadership
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and managerial skills around data-driven decision-making
- Outstanding interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills across all organizational levels; able to collaborate with individuals across all level levels of an organization
