The Role
Our Site Reliability Engineers are responsible for empowering users. As we expand our deployment, we’re looking for an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. You’ll bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective and enjoy collaborating with a cross functional team to develop real solutions and positive experiences for every user.
You’ll bridge the gap between development and operations by taking on operational tasks typically handled by operations teams.

What you’ll do:
- You’ll gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management and capacity planning.
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
- Measure and optimise system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs.
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large scale distributed software applications.
What you’ll bring:
- A strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or Data Science, or suchlike.
- At least 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Coding experience beyond simple scripts.
- Flexibility in learning new technologies and a general curiosity, fuelling the willingness to find the right tech stack to solve the problems at hand.
- A strong work ethic, and a keen interest in being part of a rapidly growing start up.
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- An ability to take initiative and deliver a very needed feature end to end.
- A keen eye for customers' needs, looking beyond the obvious.
- An ability to collaborate with teams across the organisation. An ability to travel to customers globally, up to 25% of the time.
