Civil Engineering professional with 8+ years of accomplishment in designing Civil projects. This individual interfaces with client engineering representatives and other Valdes' discipline engineers.
Responsibilities
- Display an advanced knowledge within the Civil Engineering discipline
- Provide generally accepted practices with project management, design and quality control procedures.
- Engage in design production to ensure complete, quality, and timely deliverables.
- Verify field conditions, constructability of designs, and assist in resolving problems during field construction
- May be required to participate in short, or long term, field assignments
- Participate in the pursuit of new clients and project opportunities including client interactions, fee estimating and proposal writing.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience working as a Civil Engineer
- Must hold Professional registrations (PE)
- Advanced knowledge of Civil Engineering
- Strong Microsoft Office software skills
- Strong AutoCAD / Civil 3D software skills. MicroStation experience is a plus.
- Possess report writing skills to create civil evaluation and stormwater reports.
- Intermediate understanding of other discipline workflow and how all departments work together to complete projects
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
$90,000 - $125,000 a year
Salaries for all position are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, total years of experience in the industry, education, skills, and qualifications. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate's individual background and expertise.
