Who you are
To support our rapid growth, we are looking for an Account Executive for our Validere Edge Product.

What you will do:

    • Lead the delivery of optimization and execution of trade opportunities for crude across all customers
    • Develop strategies, negotiate and manage current and future Crude Oil optimization opportunities
    • Develop and execute strategies to maximize the value of existing and new transportation and storage assets
    • Identify, assess and recommend opportunities to add value through expansion of markets, assets and product mix
    • Build relationships with key customer personas and turn them into champions
    • Develop and execute account and opportunity sales strategy
    • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation/execution to delivery handoff
    • Drive the customer’s transition vision to Validere’s value propositions and solutions through opportunity creation
    • Prospect and rapidly build a productive, revenue generating pipeline across a variety of lead sources to position yourself to exceed revenue quotas targets
    • Leverage value led selling to move forward opportunities

What you bring to the team:

    • Relevant experience in sales, trading, scheduling, and commodity marketing preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to manage meetings and opportunities end to end
    • Ability to align business value to and orient a customer with Validere software and the business level through visuals and software demo environment
    • Knowledge around the oil and gas industry, their processes and business themes at the earnings call level
    • Understanding of and demonstrated ability to execute in mid to enterprise procurement process
    • Understanding of and demonstrated ability to lead and negotiate 6-figure plus deals 
    • Ability to initiate and manage key personas
    • Exhibit grit: ability to problem solve with high velocity
