Summary:
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Sourcing/Procurement Professional Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Sourcing.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with late stage clinical or commercial pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing. A strong foundation in sourcing, procurement, analytics is critical for success in this role. The position will be hybrid based in the San Carlos, CA headquarters.

Essential Functions:

    • Support Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain team contracting and purchase requisition process.
    • Support Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain team chain team in monthly financial operations/accruals.
    • Identify and develop transparent reporting and operational efficiencies for requisition/contracting and tracking processes.
    • Drive analytics to understand spend landscape for further sourcing activities.
    • Support sourcing activities and supplier selection events.
    • Leverages prior experience with contract management systems and purchasing systems.
    • Shows clear ability to work collaboratively with other cross functional groups, especially legal and finance.
    • ·         Excellent communication skills and comfort level interacting with internal and external teams.
    • Be an outstanding teammate and know when to ask for help.

Requirements:

    • BS/BA in Life Sciences, Finance, Psychology, Communication, or related discipline.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in contracts management of clinical trials, preferably in a small biotech environment industry drug, biologic, vaccine development experience.
    • Experience in building relationships with cross functional project team and supplier engagement) to drive manufacturing readiness and efficiency.
    • Demonstrated problem solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
    • Must be self-motivating, prioritize and manage work, and show attention to detail.
    • Passion to learn, high integrity, and strong work ethic.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with reputation for collaboration with colleagues
    • Outstanding written communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office 365 (outlook mail, word processing, Excel, Zoom meetings).
    • Experience with contract management systems and purchasing systems such as Ironclad and NetSuite.

Location: San Carlos, CA
 
Compensation:
The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.
 
Salary Range: $139,000 – $150,000
