As a Senior Data Scientist at Adot, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI Analysts totaling 8 people occupying a central place in the company.
Your mission will be to develop, deploy, and maintain our suite of algorithms and pipelines used for a wide range of online advertising purposes, such as multi-label classification, user knowledge, and automatic real-time bidding, all in a very challenging Big Data environment in terms of volume (10TB/day) and latency
🎯 TASKS
- Assume responsibility for Adot's Data Science projects in all aspects from problem definition to implementation and maintenance;
- Train, version and deploy ML/DL models in a cloud or in-house environment;
- Write production-ready code and ensure the quality of code put into production through code reviews;
- Develop and maintain algorithms currently in production, as well as data pipelines to make data available to other teams;
- Maintain a technology watch to stay at the forefront of trends;
- Contribute to the life of the team and the company: become a privileged contact for operational teams to respond to business issues;
- Provide mentoring to more junior team members.
- Data pipelines: Spark, Scala, Python, Airflow, Trino, Dbt, Kafka;
- Dataviz: Tableau;
- Cloud: AWS;
- Machine learning: Python, PyTorch, SparkML . (But also: Docker, NodeJS, GraphQL, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, Postgres, Gitlab, Nomad, Terraform,...).
Our current stack:
👉 MUST HAVE skills
- 5 years experience in Data Science;
- Good knowledge of Python and SQL;
- You are familiar with statistics and machine learning;
- You've already worked on an NLP topic, ideally with PyTorch;
- You know and apply good development practices: Git, CI/CD, unit testing, documentation, etc,
- You're able to work independently and take charge of complex projects;
- You're a team player who likes to share your knowledge and help colleagues when needed;
- You speak and write fluently in French and English.
👉 NICE TO HAVE skills
- Cloud experience is a plus;
- Knowledge of Scala and Spark experience (PySpark or Spark Scala);
- Real-time bidding experience.
