📄 JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The company is currently undergoing a transition with changes across all departments including accounting as one of the first companies to be using the new cloud version of SAP : S/4 Hana.
- Based in Milan, we offer you the opportunity to join a professional and dynamic team, and to face the challenge of our growth together.
🎯 TASKS
- Conduct thorough reconciliation of intercompany transactions, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address intercompany issues and maintain clean and accurate intercompany accounts.
- Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
- Assist in the analysis of financial data, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
- Support day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the timely and accurate filing of tax-related documents (VAT declarations, Lipe, and Certificazioni Uniche )
- Support checking the VAT accuracy in order to be compliant with the Fiscal administration
- Collaborate with the accounting manager in Financial Statements preparation.
- Back up during holidays period to enlarge your scope of responsibilities
As an accountant, you will be part of the “General Ledger” team that is in charge of:
👉 MUST HAVE skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in financial audit is a plus (Big4 preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP and/or S/4HANA.
- You have a very good knowledge of Excel & Google sheets.
- Fluent English and Italian.
- Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt him/herself to work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge in other languages is a plus
