The Role
Veeva’s OpenData team is expanding the Product rapidly across Asia. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, energetic Product Manager who can lead OpenData in Taiwan.
The vision of OpenData is to help the life sciences industry better connect with the healthcare ecosystems to improve care. The Product provides comprehensive reference and profile information on key aspects of healthcare, together with the insights needed by the industry.
As the Product Manager for Taiwan, you will build and deploy the Product in Taiwan. You will be responsible for the Product Strategy and Feature Roadmap of OpenData and be passionate about product excellence and customer success. You will need to apply your intuition and experience to make good decisions around the product direction and strategy in your markets. You will also play a critical role, working together with the OpenData leadership, to define the right go-to-market approach.
This role will require an ability to creatively problem solve, build strategic relationships in the market and lead. You coach and direct the product development team on building a quality Product. You will work together with our commercial teams to decide on the appropriate marketing activities for the Product. You will execute good analytics to support the success of customers using our Product.
This role will be based in Taiwan. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Taiwan.
What You’ll Do
- Research and understand the customer and their needs. Own the User Journey
- Stay abreast of market developments and identify new needs / opportunities for the Product
- Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps and country strategies
- Creatively identify new data sources and partnerships that could strengthen the Product
- Direct the product development team to execute the product roadmap and product quality agenda.
- Drive quality and excellence in our Product, processes, and database
- Engage internal and external customers to demonstrate the value of the Product
- Ensure the success of customers using the Product
- Actively contribute to the success of the commercial pipeline
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Pharma Commercial, product management, management consulting, or related fields
- Process Oriented
- Analytical skills
- Database and data quality knowledge
- Local Health Care market understanding
- People management & development
- Excellent presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and proactive
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork
- Fluent in English and Taiwanese Mandarin
Nice to Have
- Agile Project Management (Scrum)
- Pharma company SFE/Marketing/IT working experience
- Experience with master data management concepts and applications
- Familiarity with Marketing
- Working experience with databases/data product
