The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for a curious, adaptable, experienced, and creative QA Engineer to join our successful and growing R&D team.
The project is the Veeva Data Platform, a leading big-data ETL system which processes transactions and matches identities while preserving privacy.
What You'll Do
- Create clear test plans which will be executed by you and team members.
- Write and maintain integration, sanity and regression tests for our products and services.
- Create and maintain documented coverage of tests.
- Review and analyze test results.
- Take part in all scrum activities (estimation sessions, planning, reviews)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Proven experience working with data and ETL processes.
- Experience writing automation code in Java or comparable OOP language.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with creating and maintaining tests for production environments.
- Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar quantitative field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient English skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Pharma/Life Sciences industry
- Experience with working in a distributed team
- Experience with Big Data Processing
