The Role

Veeva Systems is looking for a driven, self-motivated Leader looking to get exposure to a critical growth industry with Life Sciences with a passion for empowering a team of strong professionals working closely with pharma and biotech companies with best-of-breed cloud-based technology.
 
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for the Enterprise Application Management strategy for R&D and Quality, aiming to build sustainable and scalable enterprise application management services for our largest and most complex development cloud customers. You will also manage and grow our Lead Consultant practice in Europe.
 
Veeva’s Development Cloud helps organizations eliminate silos and transform business processes across clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and quality management with greater efficiency and compliance.
 
This is a remote, full-time role with Veeva, with occasional travel to the Veeva Budapest site. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Europe. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for this employment position.

What You'll Do

    • Leading a customer-facing team, including resource planning, oversight, and development of professional growth of direct reports
    • Ensuring that our offerings are sustainable and serve the best interests of our customers
    • Working closely with the R&D Post-Implementation Practice Leads to ensure we have the right talent driving and delivering our programs
    • Providing program oversight and monitoring, including executive relationship management
    • Planning and oversight of new offerings and customer pipeline for Europe
    • Establishing program standards as well as running and scaling our existing programs
    • Contributing to internal initiatives and operations of the EAM business to improve our ways of working

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in an Operational or Support Leadership role and ability to build and run a team
    • 8+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Support, Consulting or Product Management
    • Proven track record leading implementation and/or IT operations as a consultant, business analyst, or IT lead and/or business sponsor, technical affinity, and/or hands-on experience with software implementation.
    • Ability to handle customer escalations, finding an agreement, reaching Customer Success
    • Proven ability to work both independently and in teams in a dynamic environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • University degree or equivalent relevant experience

Nice to Have

    • Good understanding of SaaS and GxP principles
    • Certification in ITIL ® 4
    • Experience in Transition Management
    • Experience in the Pharma Quality, Clinical, or Regulatory spaces
    • Experience with Data or Content Management applications
    • Direct experience with systems such as Veeva Vault, Documentum, D2, OpenText, SharePoint, FirstDoc, FirstPoint, NextDocs, CARA, MasterControl, TrackWise QMS, BioClinica, IMPACT, Siebel CTMS, Wingspan eTMF, InForm EDC, RAVE, docuBridge, Global Register, goBalto or other QMS, CTMS, RIM, RegIntel, EDC, LMS, eTMF, Study Start-up (SSU) or Safety applications
    • Fluency in more than one European language
