The Role

CDMS strategy leadership across our mid-tier CRO customers requires a deep understanding of the clinical space, clinical data management, and the associated EDC/eClinical applications used to manage clinical trial data. The CDMS SMB CRO Strategy Leader must demonstrate the ability to drive adoption discussions based on credibility and knowledge across multiple domains: including pharma/biotech, CRO, technology partnership. The CDMS SMB CRO Strategy Leader must demonstrate the ability to challenge customers to adopt new operating models and change their traditional way of thinking, whilst leaning into making our partners successful.
 
Vault CDMS comprises EDC, Coder, and Clinical Database. This role will be responsible for driving CDMS market strategy and growth, within our mid-tier CRO partners, working with the sales team, ensuring customer success, and developing the market approach. To achieve these goals the CDMS SMB CRO Strategy Leader will need to build deep relationships in the broader community, connecting Sponsors and Partners through Veeva.
 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of industry and technology leaders, who, together, are bringing the next generation of clinical development and R&D applications to Life Sciences.
 
This position can be based anywhere in North America.

What You'll Do

    • Responsible for growing and sustaining the mid-tier CRO customer base for CDMS 
    • Develop and execute the CDMS vision for mid-tier CROs
    • Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption 
    • Develop value-oriented materials oriented to mid-tier CROs
    • Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption of CDMS
    • Other special clinical projects as assigned

Requirements

    • 7+ years in clinical R&D; proven leadership and line management skills
    • Industry CRO data management experience 
    • Ability to hold meaningful conversations with heads of clinical data management, clinical affairs/operations, and IT regarding CDMS introduction, adoption, and scaling
    • Deep understanding of clinical data industry trends
    • Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations

Compensation

    • Base pay: $125,000 - $300,000
    • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
