The Role

Veeva Link envisions building connected data applications to improve research and patient outcomes. Link SiteBase is a product that improves site identification with accurate, real-time clinical trial site and investigator data. We are looking for a Real World Data (RWD) Analyst interested in refining our database.
 
As a major part of our SiteBase agile operations team, you will be the subject matter expert for questions regarding real-world data structure and quality. You will ensure our data meet the product goal and provide valuable insights for our customers worldwide. You will closely work with product management, data operations, data governance, software engineering, and quality assurance teams.
 
To thrive in your role, you need to have experience with real-world data. Initial working experience with data analytics, large databases, and complex data sets is also required. You are a fast learner, detail-oriented, have a growth mindset, and can turn data into valuable insights. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and can deliver high-quality results within challenging timelines. You are comfortable working remotely in an international environment.

What You'll Do

    • Develop new healthcare organization (HCO) patient potential scores across diseases
    • Determine approaches to extrapolate and propagate claims data where required
    • Identify high-claims volume HCOs and departments to develop a list of HCOs to add to our product
    • Provide regular analytics on site-patient potential 
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis and create customized reports for various stakeholders
    • Assure that data quality meets our high standards 

Requirements

    • University degree in medicine or life sciences 
    • 2+ years of working experience in a data analyst role that requires medical knowledge
    • Experience mapping ICD10 codes (e.g., to internally defined therapeutic areas and diseases)
    • Advanced SQL and Excel skills 
    • Experience working with large databases and data sets
    • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
