The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for a curious, adaptable, experienced, and creative QA Engineer to join our successful and growing R&D team.
The project is the Veeva Data Platform, a leading big-data ETL system that processes transactions and matches identities while preserving privacy.
What You'll Do
- Write and maintain integration, sanity, and regression tests for our Production products and services
- Create clear test plans that will be executed by them and team members
- Create and maintain documented coverage of tests
- Review and analyze test results
- Work on CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) daily
- Take part in all scrum activities (estimation sessions, planning, reviews)
Requirements
- Data analysis experience - solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- 2+ years and up to 5 years of proven experience and strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with creating and maintaining tests for production environment
- Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field
- Some experience writing automation code
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the Pharma/Life Sciences industry
- Experience with working in a distributed team
- Experience with Big Data Processing
