The Role

Veeva Systems is looking for a curious, adaptable, experienced, and creative QA Engineer to join our successful and growing R&D team.
 
The project is the Veeva Data Platform, a leading big-data ETL system that processes transactions and matches identities while preserving privacy.

What You'll Do

    • Write and maintain integration, sanity, and regression tests for our Production products and services
    • Create clear test plans that will be executed by them and team members
    • Create and maintain documented coverage of tests
    • Review and analyze test results
    • Work on CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) daily
    • Take part in all scrum activities (estimation sessions, planning, reviews)

Requirements

    • Data analysis experience - solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
    • 2+ years and up to 5 years of proven experience and strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience with creating and maintaining tests for production environment
    • Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field
    • Some experience writing automation code
    • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to Have

    • Knowledge of the Pharma/Life Sciences industry
    • Experience with working in a distributed team
    • Experience with Big Data Processing
