The Role

Veeva Crossix Analytics, a business unit of Veeva Systems, delivers business-critical marketing insights to healthcare advertisers and media owners. The Partnerships team plays a key role by establishing, managing, and growing Veeva Crossix’s relationships with media owners, distribution platforms, MVPs, data providers, data on-boarders, and others. This Senior Director role will lead external relationships focused on partnership success. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for data, and the digital media and TV industry, closely tracking the latest best practices, innovations, trends, and privacy changes.

What You'll Do

    • You will be a core contributor to the partnerships team in four primary areas:
    • Originate strategic partnerships
    • Source opportunities that support the commercial and product strategies
    • Present business context, data flows, technology overviews, and privacy considerations to partner business and legal teams
    • Present business cases to internal business leads and management team
    • Contracting
    • Partner with legal and contracting terms to draft and review agreements
    • Engage the privacy team to ensure compliance with the latest legal and regulatory requirements
    • Negotiate commercial relationships and terms
    • Partner management
    • Ongoing strategic alignment with partner leadership teams
    • Manage internal team to ensure best-in-class tactical execution and operations, including opportunity launch/assessments, usage reporting, payments, and dispute resolution
    • Identify, prioritize, and manage expansion opportunities
    • Support client requests and inquiries (education, methodology reviews, opportunity management)
    • Subject matter expert
    • Partner with internal teams to lead client discussions on the world without cookies, and the digital and TV media landscape
    • Represent Veeva on industry panels and conferences
    • Partner with the marketing team on industry POVs and thought leadership

Requirements

    • 12+ years experience in media (at a media agency, a publisher/media owner, or an analytics company) including significant time in a client-facing role
    • Demonstrable knowledge and relationships with media, ad tech, and data companies
    • Comfort discussing digital media technology, data capture and flows, and analytics
    • Experience establishing and growing enablement and shared product partnerships into multimillion and multiyear relationships
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to think through complicated, multi-tier commercial structures, supporting relationships that contain multiple components
    • Exceptional written and verbal communications
    • Note: this is not a sales or business development role

Compensation

    • Base pay: $120,000 - $200,000  
    • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
