Position Overview:
We’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in a key role supporting the reliable and secure delivery of our software products. This position will help improve and maintain core infrastructure, including restoring cluster functionality to reduce slicing costs and enhancing or replacing our current VeloLog server. The role will also support future machine learning efforts by helping to build out the data systems needed for defect detection.

Responsibilities

    • Maintaining and improving our AWS infrastructure for running batch jobs 
    • Running our in house cluster 
    • Maintaining CI/CD systems 
    • Improving testing tooling 
    • Supporting our data warehouse 
    • Writing tooling to manage and deploy software and settings across our printer fleet 
    • Security evaluations of tools and designs 

Requirements

    • Basic python programming and other scripting languages 
    • Familiarity with linux and windows setup scripting 
    • Familiarity with git 
    • Familiarity with a number of the key systems you would be working on (Windows, Linux, AWS Batch, AWS SSO, Influx DB, Grapha, Postgres, Jenkins, PBS, windows installers, code signing, certificate management, AS9100, CMMC, docker, Confluence/Jira, clang-tidy, pyflakes, pylint, cppcheck).

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this full-time position is between $128,000 and $140,000. This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position in the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience, job-related skills, related education, work location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. In addition to a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and equity program, as applicable.
