What will you do?

    • In this role, you will tackle a broad range of Support and Automation efforts for Pierian, including develop and deliver automated tools for build, deployment, and monitoring
    • Assist organization in leveraging external and internal cloud services features such as AWS elastic capacity auto-scaling, elastic load balancing, right-sizing, disaster recovery strategies, and tiered storage.
    • Provide support for all AWS infrastructure and CI/CD tools and processes Consider non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, resiliency, and performance in all solution design
    • Participate in all stages of the solution to include design, implementation, operations and improvement cycles 
    • Assess and identify opportunities to automate tasks, processes, and workflows
    • Provide technical engineering support to all phases of network development, operation, and management

What do you bring to the table?

    • Total years of experience - 4 to 7 years
    • 4 years minimum experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes
    • Infrastructure as Code approaches: Ansible and Cloudformation experience preferred
    • Experience with MongoDB, AWS is required, and Postgres experience is a plus
    • Experience with system monitoring tools (we use Datadog, Sumologic, and CloudWatch)
    • Programming experience using shell scripting is required. Programming skills in Python are desired.
    • The candidate must have advanced working knowledge in configuration management, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
    • The candidate must have a working knowledge of container and container management technologies.
