Commercial Systems Project Leader

We’re seeking a highly organized and detailed orientated commercial systems project leader who has a background in SFDC implementations, integrations, and proven project management skills. The Commercial Systems Manager will lead internal SFDC resources and be responsible for consulting external partners. In this exciting role you will also be responsible for all commercial applications, development, support and supplier management. 

What will you do?

    • Maintain a rolling 12-month (minimum) commercial systems project plan, ensuring project deliverables are achieved within agreed budgets and aligned to organizational needs.
    • Be a thought leader in SFDC and commercial system development, planning and delivery. 
    • Manage external implementation partner(s) and internal SFDC resources through (but not limited to) configuration of changes to the system, including managing workflow rules, formula fields, customization of objects, fields, triggers, record types, integrations and page layouts.
    • Lead the charge to support, connect, integrate and develop all commercial applications to create seamless data flows and world class user experiences.
    • Lead developments required to roll out SFDC organization wide, supported by Sales Operations. 
    • Ensure data flows between SFDC and connected/integrated systems are maintained within an agreed uptime tolerance. 
    • Facilitate commercial systems steering groups and enhancement meetings on a regular cadence.
    • Identify process improvements, through interacting regularly with sales teams & commercial leadership.
    • Translate business requirements into detailed plans, then lead the SFDC team to execute deliverables.
    • Work closely with the business on prioritizing backlog bug fixes and enhancements.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and integrations to improve commercial processes with a constant focus on measuring the impact to productivity. 
    • Manage relationships with commercial system suppliers while being directly responsible for reporting commercial system usage. 
    • Implement new commercial tools and integrate to SFDC (where possible), with a constant focus on creating seamless user experiences.
    • Facilitate user testing, training transcripts, SFDC handbooks and support the learning and development organization with creation of training materials to improve system adoption and usage.
    • Support and maintain process documentation for predefined commercial tools
    • Own commercial file management and structure, ensuring information is saved in agreed format and location.
    • Provide support for other sales initiatives as needed, including ad hoc requests and special projects.

What you bring to the table?

    • 5+ years’ project management and planning experience
    • 3+ years’ experience in people management and team development a must 
    • 2+ years as a SFDC administration role beneficial
    • Experience working in a commercial team and supporting or using commercial tools extremely desirable. 
    • Self-motivated, energetic, team player with ability to interact with all levels within an organization including the executive level.
    • Good understanding of SFDC APEX triggers, classes, asynchronous apex & APIs to be able to hold technical level conversations with the SFDC developer and Administrators.  
    • Detailed knowledge of SFDC Lightening essential 
    • Proven experience of scaling a SFDC instance globally
    • Extremely organized and detail orientated.
    • Excellent analytical and presentation skills 
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required. 
    • Proficient in Google Office Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint), & Salesforce
    • Ability to clearly articulate business issues and solutions at a Senior Management level
    • Experience in using and integrating business intelligence tools beneficial 
    • Experience as a SFDC developer beneficial
    • Project management certifications advantageous
