Who are we?

Welcome to the era of Velsera! Seven Bridges, Pierian & UgenTec have combined to become Velsera.

Velsera is the precision engine company. We empower researchers, scientists, and clinicians to drive precision R&D, expand access to, and more effectively leverage analytics at the point of care.

We unify technology-enabled solutions and scientific expertise to enable a continuous flow of knowledge across the global healthcare ecosystem. This interweaves diverse biomedical communities, allowing them to build upon each other’s success and accelerate medical breakthroughs that positively impact human health. With our headquarters in Boston, MA we are rapidly growing and expanding our team which currently has over 800 employees located in 14 different countries!

This person will amplify Seven Bridges current efforts in providing solutions to the cancer research community, refine existing strategy, and develop novel strategic approaches to empower cancer researchers to drive precision medicine. You will be responsible for driving strategy and execution across multiple grants and contracts.  You’ll be expected to serve as a Principal Investigator on one or more contracts or grants. Additionally, you will  manage direct reports; these reports will generally be senior managers and not individual contributors. The Director will collaborate with the leadership team to prioritize opportunities and to coordinate pre-sales to ensure strategic alignment. They will also be expected to strongly contribute to core internal strategic initiatives and to shape their team to be efficient and impactful.

Fundamentally, Directors are empathetic, detail oriented, strong communicators who excel at problem solving and strategy. They are responsible for keeping the big picture in focus by ensuring impact, coordination, and efficiency, defining and clearly communicating priorities, and ultimately ensuring that the products we build accelerate what’s possible scientifically and are loved by the people we build them for.

Directors are leaders on the team and will contribute to ensuring the success of consortium-based initiatives by building and maintaining strategic relationships and enabling the fulfillment of a wide range of contractual obligations.
