What will you do?

    • Design, develop, deploy, monitor and continuously improving AI systems that will change the status quo in our market
    • Build AI models from scratch that go beyond off-the-shelf methods tuned to the solution needs
    • Support the development of data ingestion and data transformation architectures
    • Collaborate across teams to help with AI adoption and best practices
    • Integrate AI or machine learning models with other applications in production
    • Collaborate with the Product team to define objectives and deliver key results
    • Train cross functional teams and other stakeholders with analysis and implementation
    • Evaluate and recommend new ML/NLP/AI technologies and opportunities to implement within the business
    • Lead, motivate and mentor the team members.
    • Manage a team of Data Scientists and ML/NLP/AI Engineers which includes supervising the team, growth and performance management.

What do you bring to the table?

    • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology or a related field.
    • 1-3+ in a technical team leadership role and 4-6+ years of technical experience
    • Strong proficiency in Python programming and common Python data science packages
    • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MongoDB
    • Strong knowledge or interests in MLOps processes and tools, e.g., CI/CD, unit testing, MLFlow, AzureML, etc.
    • Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments and general cloud infrastructure concepts
    • Comfortable working on codebases as a team. Comfortable using Git.
    • Proven experience in developing & deploying machine learning solutions for large-scale production systems.
    • A track record of working on highly innovative and/or large-scale data analysis projects.
    • Proven ability to deliver production-quality Python code.
    • Considerable experience working within and improving upon MLOps processes.
    • Ability to execute end-to-end data science projects in a self-guided fashion, starting with exploratory data analysis and resulting in production-ready solutions.
    • Ability to build rapport amongst stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
    • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of standard machine learning techniques for supervised and unsupervised learning.
    • Familiarity with cloud (deployment) solutions and tools, such as batch workloads, REST APIs and Docker containers.
    • Experience with Agile engineering practices.
    • Ability to integrate with cross-functional teams worldwide
