Venteur is building the health insurance system of the future — one that is more affordable, simple, portable, and, most importantly, gives individuals a greater voice in their healthcare decision-making. We work with businesses to take advantage of this new way of providing health insurance. Instead of offering a traditional, one-size-fits-all group health insurance plan, companies set up an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) and give their employees tax-free money to buy health insurance.

As a seed-stage startup, Venteur invites team members to help build the company of their dreams: your voice will contribute to building our culture and our processes to enable us to build the health insurance system of the future.

Candidates must be based in the United States, with a preference for San Francisco-based candidates.

About the Head of Payments

The great thing about a Venteur-administered ICHRA is its flexibility. While you have to buy health insurance to claim your ICHRA money, you don't have to spend all of the money on health insurance. You can allocate a portion of your funds to your Health Wallet -- a pre-tax account that can be used for out-of-pocket medical expenses. Today, Venteur processes thousands of Health Wallet transactions monthly. The Head of Payments will oversee this growing business line. Core responsibilities include crafting and implementing the product roadmap, overseeing day-to-day operations, and managing compliance.
