We seek skilled people with 5+ years of experience in web development. You should be knowledgeable about the React framework and have worked with Typescript.
You will create high-performance and low-maintenance code and design for the future architecture of the services in Veo.
We are looking for someone curious about web development, who stays up to date with Web APIs and Javascript/Typescript, who is interested in topics like Web performance and best practices, and who is comfortable working in a team where giving and receiving feedback in the form of code reviews is normal.
The candidate should also like to work in a Kanban-inspired agile environment and actively contribute to the product's user experience.
Environment/Language/Tools/Platforms:
- React and Typescript
- Web and browsers should be second nature
- Whatever code editor makes you the most productive
- Git for source control
- Jest for tests
Our user-centric team focuses on the product, including design, user experience, performance, and reliability. We want to deliver a great product with a high standard, but it is also essential that we have fun while doing so and our interactions are casual. We don’t like micromanagement, and we trust that each of us will do the job.
We actively contribute to code development, and we can break down stories into less than a day's work. We also give constructive and useful feedback when reviewing peers' code.
We are a product team. We work independently from other teams. We are empowered to build the product for Coaches. Our Task management board is structured in a Kanban style with no story points.
We do retros and weekly planning. Our OKRs set our focus on product outcome instead of feature output.
