Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We’re democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.

But what truly sets us apart? Our people. We’re a diverse group of innovative thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers who believe in delivering an incredible product—and having fun while doing it.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Camera Team, working at the heart of Veo’s product development. You’ll be part of the CamDev team, collaborating closely with firmware and mechanical engineers to design, prototype, and test the advanced electronics powering our next-generation cameras. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead PCB layout projects in Altium, design high-speed circuits, and work with partners to prototype and test boards.

You’ll be part of the CamDev team, a collaborative group of engineers who support each other across disciplines. Together, we’re an innovative product development department, with all the capabilities in-house to push the pace of innovation and bring ideas to market faster than ever.

What you’ll do

    • Design high-speed circuits (LPDDR5(x), PCI-E, USB3.0, MIPI) and potentially HDI boards.
    • Set up Altium projects and lead PCB layout in collaboration with senior electronics engineers.
    • Prototype PCBAs with external partners, combining practical skills with strong communication.
    • Debug and bring up boards together with firmware engineers.
    • Test PCBAs for EMC, RF, safety, thermal performance, and signal integrity.
    • Design for manufacturability and ensure compliance with EMC standards.
    • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and mechanical design to balance architecture and real-estate allocation.

What you could bring

    • 4+ years of hands-on electronics development experience and a education in a relevant field.
    • Strong schematic and PCB design skills, with confidence in hardware bring-up.
    • Experience with high-speed designs and modern interfaces (LPDDR5, PCI-E, USB3.0, MIPI).
    • Familiarity with EMC design principles and standards.
    • Ability to design for manufacturability and scalability.
    • Humble, collaborative, and energized by problem-solving as part of a team.
    • A positive, hands-on mindset and willingness to learn.
