As the Product Quality Lead, you will be an essential contributor to shaping the Veo Quality Team. With your keen attention to detail and dedicated focus on product quality, you will diagnose issues, develop solutions, and lead improvement actions to ensure that existing and new products meet customer expectations continuously.
We aim to build Denmark's most innovative Product Development department in VEO. We are building a development team with all the necessary capabilities in-house to push the needle of innovation and innovation speed, where we will use our in-house assembly line to fast-track our time to market.
Responsible for:
- Root cause analysis with appropriate teams (R&D/Capture, Customer Support, Production & Procurement). You will be responsible for involving the resources you need to get the root cause identified and the issue resolved (firmware, electronics, app, UX, mechanics)
- Being a Quality Partner for our Capture team: Own and pioneer our strategy for hardware tests, Design for testing & design for manufacturing/lifetime quality. You will be a crucial factor in allowing us to grow and release new products without having too many operational burdens in the shape of quality issues taking up our time
- Collect data and assess quality metrics: Work with BI and the Capture associated Quant to understand and identify the issues as well as understand their full implications for our customers
- Develop electro-mechanical test systems for both R&D and production (involves internal Needle Bed automated test-jig and assistance from our software tooling developer)
- In the future, You will be responsible for defining what tests new hardware has to go through before it can live up to ‘The Veo Standard’ — corrosion, thermal, ESD, drop, electrical stability, etc.

- At some point in your career, you’ve most likely worked with hardware product development and manufacturing or used external manufacturing partners
- You’ve ideally worked in a quality function before
Advantageous to possess:
- Knowledge of 3D printers (you can get support from our mechanical engineers)
- Coding skills to the extent of writing test scripts (you can get assistance from our software tooling developers)
- Experience with lifetime analysis of PCBAs
- Experience with various types of test jigs (environment, Needle bed, RF, drop, salt spray, ESD, etc.)
Environment:
- Fusion 360 / Solidworks
- Altium
Getting up to speed with our tech is voluminous. It is a complicated product with many different functions, requiring you to catch up fast on how our product works for various areas (battery, optics, wireless, compute, PD ctrl, mic, etc). You should be up for a steep learning curve.
You will work closely with the Cam App Product Manager, Firmware engineers on bug fixing, Software tooling developers to bring test fixtures to life, the electronics team on test coverage, and Anton Husby, Head of Capture.
You will collaborate with a team that embodies innovation and professionalism, united by the goal of crafting a detailed IOT product from its initial concept through to its final creation.
