About this role :


    • We are currently looking for our future Digital Quality LIMS Specialist to join our Digital Operations team (Digital&IT department).
      As such, you will lead our Digital Operations team's LIMS solution for our gigafactory.
      You will design, and drive the development and implementation of our LIMS and electronic lab record solutions, support MES/SCADA/BMS/Edge systems designing by proposing efficient technical solutions, test and validate LIMS implementation & integration with instruments & automation and interface with other systems (ERP, PLM, WMS)
      You will support systems commissioning for the gigafactory from FAT (Europe) to SOP (Dunkirk). By doing this you will contribute in building World class Verkor’s Digital Manufacturing Industry 5.0 strategy.
      This role is located in our VIC (Verkor Innovation Center) in Grenoble. During the first year, frequent travels (50%) to our gigafactory based in Dunkirk and in an European scope are to be expected.

Main missions :

    • Technical design documentation (System Design Specification, System Requirements Specification), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user training, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), software validation, and change controls.
    • Configuring SampleManager utilizing Explorer folders, forms, Report and Label Templates and Workflows
    • Integrating information systems and lab instruments by using SampleManager LES and/or Integration Manager
    • Writing parsers in SampleManager environment to file imports or restAPI interface contracts
    • Train Lab engineers and shopfloor QC operators to become autonomous LIMS users
    • Configure & Develop our Digital solutions including process authoring, development, unitary, and functional testing
    • Support the gigafactory ramp-up by applying advanced troubleshooting methods & best practices from the Digital team

Requirements :

    • Bachelor / Master's degree in science-related discipline preferred (preferably informatics or bioinformatics)
    • 4+ years’ experience implementing laboratory informatics software (LIMS, ELN, workflow configuration LES, SDMS, instrument integration IM, data manager DM, jobs/Inspection Lot interface with ERP SAP QM)
    • Experience in a fast, agile environment implementing cutting edge IT/IS solutions
    • Experience with Thermofisher Scientific™ SampleManager is preferred
    • Experience in computer programming skills, including C#, VGL, SQL and integration with webservices and APIs 
    • Understanding of IT in a scientific, laboratory setting and battery workflows
    • Experience managing code repositories with GitHub or Azure DevOps is a plus
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Easily adapt to a multi-cultural environment
