About this role:

    • We are currently looking for a Senior Factory Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Prismatic Development team based at our VIC (Verkor Innovation Center) in Grenoble.
    • As such, you will help build the foundation of the industrial engineering practices by supporting our process innovation team industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

    • Structural Review and Load Distribution Calculation:
    • - Conduct comprehensive structural reviews and calculate load distribution for heavy equipment on upper floors (ex. 1st or 2nd floor).
      - Develop and implement structural reinforcement plans to ensure safety and stability.
    • Floor Structure Reinforcement:
    • - Assess and propose reinforcement solutions for floor structures when placing heavy equipment on the ground floor.
    • Vibration-Sensitive Equipment Analysis:
    • - Perform load calculations and structural reviews for vibration-sensitive equipment, ensuring optimal placement and reinforcement.
    • Manage assigned projects from concept through completion.
    • Assist with tasks relating to the identification of improvements in the Manufacturing Value Stream(s) and provide support to Construction, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and Warehousing.
    • Provide research and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks as assigned
    • Documentation and follow-up with suppliers.
    • Create and finalize the CIP (continuous improvement projects) through the industrial engineering scope.
    • Factory design, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are must-haves.
    • Preparing the industrial project progress weekly reports.

Requirements:

    • Graduated in Architectural Engineering school, preferably in Factory Structural Analysis Engineering.
    • Strong interest in BEAMS and support engineering.
    • Strong will to learn and work as a team.
    • Must be able to make effective oral presentations to small groups.
    • High ethical standards, sound judgement and initiative, dependable 
    • Several business travels during year domestically and internationally can be required
