About this role :
We are currently looking for our future Facility Engineer – Energy and Process Utilities (M/F) to join our Facilities Team based in Bourbourg (outskirts of Dunkirk, North of France).
As such, you are responsible for the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, modernization, and protection of physical facilities and equipment, especially those related to Energy and Process Utilities.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to take part in the construction of our gigafactory, capable to ensure the manufacturing of more than 300 000 batteries for electric vehicles !
Responsibilities :
- Develop conceptual designs for equipment and system expansion and/or upgrades
- Manage and implement all phases of new construction and renovation/upgrade projects, including planning, design, construction and commissioning
- Prepare written project documents, which may include budgets, staffing, schedules, coordination and other pertinent project information
- Modify existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity and cost effectiveness
- Direct consulting engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel during the design and construction phase of facility systems
- Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects
- Oversee the structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, site, environmental, and other construction and engineering drawings for the facility
- Interpret regulatory codes for compliance
Requirements :
- Engineer diploma with minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment
- Fluent English & French
- Proven knowledge of Energy & Process Utilities in construction projects
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
