We have an exciting opportunity as Supply Chain Operation Engineer H/F for our Gigafactory, our industrial site, based in Bourbourg. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing the operational & control process of Logistics.

Responsabilities

    • Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • · General Prerequisites 
      · Develop/Implement the operational process of Logistics, planning long-term transport routes
      · Set-up logistic control process, continuous improving & optimizing processes
      · Booking transport, coordinating with Logistic Technicians (dock area to warehouse)
      · Build-up to support Operational Logistic concept to design WMS, ERP System
      · Lead reducing costs of logistic activities
      · Cooperate with other department (IT, Logistics, others)

      · WMS & ACS Control Support, Data management procedure 
      · Set-up procedure to support WMS control
      · Data management with SAP to ensure data integration for the WMS on the long-term.
      · Support ACS control

      · Inbound /Outbound Digitalization Set-up
      · Coordinate right tools to set-up for digitalization (Barcode scanning, Labeling standard, data collection for all logistic information)
      · Integrate all in/out bound data into internal systems (SAP) to make sure that everything is tracked correctly into the systems.
      · Set-up procedure for Returned Cells, NG Cells to go to scrap zone.

      · Logistic Tools Preparation Coordination 
      · Ensure that all logistics tools are implemented correctly (forklifts, EL handling tools, barcode scanner) - review to be aligned with process design.
      · Coordinate all other supports.

      · Indirect Procurement & Stock Management support
      · Maintaining indirect stock levels
      · Register all items into SAP

Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 year higher education diploma in the field of supply chain together with a significant experience in a similar position
    • Excellent command of logistics requirements
    • Previous experience in inventory management with an ERP and a Warehouse Management System as a user or key user
    • Detailed knowledge and experience of cargo handling & warehousing operations
    • IT literacy, working knowledge with Microsoft office, WMS, TMS (Preferred)
    • Experience with mobile devices (RF guns, tablets, label printers), labels/tags formats (1D, 2D, RFID) and integration with AS/RS or AGV would be a plus
    • Strong time management skills and adaptability in quick pace environment
    • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English
