About this role :


    • We are currently looking for our future Digital Manufacturing Functional Expert to join the Digital Operations teams, within our Digital&IT department.
      As such, you plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire lifecycle of digital manufacturing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
      You maintain clear and regular communication with all Verkor team stakeholders involved in the projects (product, process, operation, quality, maintenance), understand business needs and manufacturing operational processes to suggest appropriate technological solutions.
      You collaborate with internal teams & suppliers to design detailed functional specifications and efficient workflows for digital systems, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of OT digital systems with existing infrastructures and IT systems, support digital manufacturing projects, including commissioning for the Gigafactory site from FAT, SAT to SOP.
      By doing this, you contribute in building World class Verkor’s Digital Manufacturing Industry 5.0 journey.
      This role is located in our VIC (Verkor Innovation Center) based in Grenoble. During the first year, regular travels (50%) to our gigafactory and on an European scope are to be expected.

Main responsibilities :

    • Reviewing and signing off on the outcome of the detailed design phase during the project (e.g., design, build, test, and implementation).
    • Integrate solutions with systems and third-party software, both on the premise and in the cloud.
    • Design and validate digital OT enhancements.
    • Participate in the platforms start-up and commissioning tests.
    • Build & support advanced OT systems troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with key users from other teams to optimize the manufacturing flow by leading innovations & improvements from idea to implementation.

Requirements :

    • Master's degree in information systems / computer science / project management
    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    • Solid Knowledge on Digital manufacturing OT, Edge/IoT, laboratory systems or workflow, preferably in assembly or automotive industry.
    • Knowledge in the Manufacturing & Logistics domain, lean manufacturing principles, ideally related to the automotive industry
    • Experience with MES/MOM Software - Aveva™ Model Driven MES, System Platform (Wonderware Archestra IDE), Aveva Historian, Work Tasks (Skelta) or Enterprise Integrator preferred
    • Experience with LIMS or ELN software - Thermofisher Scientific™ SampleManager LIMS™ preferred
    • Good understanding of UML, OPC UA data modelling concepts
    • Good verbal and written communication skills, willing to support operators on the shopfloor.
    • Easily adapt to multi-cultural environment.
    • Ability to apply Software development agile methodologies
    • Versatile, problem-solving, can-do attitude
