We now focus on building the world’s most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually.  

In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure to shape the future of European mobility.

To participate in performing the prototyping of a variety of lithium ion cell prototypes including coin cell, pouch cell and cylindrical cell : electrical and mechanical set-up
To perform test benches setup and wiring : upgrade, sensors adding, mechanical modification, measurement specifications
To specify the test benchs, chambers, utilities in the scope of the testing center development with support from the validation team
To support the construction team on testing equipment's preparation and installation
To develop the testing equipment
To schedule tests according to tests standards and qualification plans and anticipate their preparation
To conduct and report internal tests in compliance with programs, procedures and safety rules
To perform cell testing and assist cell test fixtures definition : parametrization, measurement first analysis, conformity check, issues analysis and reporting
To specify the testing workpackage for tests outsourcing with the specification from validation team
To organize external tests and ensure their follow-up and exploitation
To work on the optimization of process parameters to improve performance, quality and yield
To perform the formalization and standardization of protocols and intellectual property via documentation generation/revision (work instructions, electronic notebook, …)
To provide a support in maintenance and troubleshooting of benches equipment

Requirements

    • MSC in Electrical/Automation/Electronics/Automotive or similar engineering field
    • Experience : apprenticeship or min. 2 years in industrial company
    • Comprehensive understanding of electric circuitry and electrical risks
    • Experience with automated test development including specification, procurement and validation
    • Experience with FEV MORPHEE software is a plus
    • Core understanding of root cause and corrective action methodologies
    • Experience with testing lab software eventually including automation and data processing tools (Python, Matlab etc,…)
    • Experience with product development, validation and safety
    • Experience with Li-ion cell testing is a plus
    • Great communication, autonomy and proactivity
    • English CEFR B2/C1 : ability to communicate and read on technical subjects
