A new opportunity to join our Verkor Construction Team !

Facility Project Engineers are responsible for the implementation of construction, maintenance, modification, modernization, and protection of physical facilities and equipment (building, power, water, sewer, chemical, piping, ventilation, lighting, space utilization, furniture, controls etc.) used to produce high quality products at Verkor.

Responsibilities :

    • Design, Install, Modify and Construction of Equipment and Systems
    • Develop conceptual designs for equipment and system expansion and/or upgrades
    • Manage and implement all phases of new construction and renovation/upgrade projects including planning, design, construction and commissioning
    • Prepare written project documents which may include budgets, staffing, schedules, coordination and other pertinent project information
    • Conduct technical project review and prepare written comments, analyses and recommendations
    • Direct consulting engineers, contractors and maintenance personnel during the design and construction phase of facility systems
    • Prepare designs, layouts, drawings, and bills of material for major maintenance, facility improvements, and other projects
    • Interpret regulatory codes for compliance 

Requirements :

    • Engineering Diploma in a related area
    • At least 5 years of experience as Project Manager, ideally in construction sector
    • Used to deal with budget and schedules
