A propos du poste :
- As part of a 6-month replacement, we are recruiting a Sustainable Development and Environmental Impact Quantification Officer on a fixed-term contract.
Missions principales :
- Configure internal tool developed under LCA for Expert (GaBi) software
- including Li-ion cells and module manufacturing and scraps management and
- recycling.
- Ø Take part to discussions on the carbon footprint methodology definition at the
- European level in relation with the Battery regulation and regulatory watch.
- Ø Take part to raise the awareness of suppliers on these topics, train them to the
- last carbon footprint methodology released, and collect, verify and summarize
- primary data from suppliers. Ensure that the decarbonization strategies of
- Verkors suppliers are aligned with Verkor’s strategy.
- Ø Literature review on the environmental footprint of the Li-ion batteries
- manufacturing and recycling.
- Ø International benchmark on the environmental footprint of the Li-ion batteries
- and related decarbonization objective.
- Ø Implementation of Verkor’s decarbonization strategy: engage all relevant
- Verkor teams (1 to 1, workshops etc.)
Prérequis :
- You graduated with a Master in Materials, chemical engineering or process engineering
- Your master integrated specific modules on life cycle analysis/eco-conception
- You pursued a double degree with a specialized master in life cycle analysis, sustainability or eco conception
- First experience using LCA for Expert software (GaBi) is recommended and LCA methodology doesn’t have any secret for you
- You are strongly motivated by the environmental and social stakes, especially the transition to a low-carbon mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You are autonomous in your missions.
- You like to interact and collaborate transversely in your company.
- You are very rigorous and pay attention to details.
- You are eager to learn and evolve in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent knowledge of English and French is necessary for the job.
