About this role :
We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality team based in Grenoble (French Alps). As part of the Supplier Quality Performance team, you are responsible for supplier performance all along the product life cycle.
You also work closely with procurement and technical teams during the sourcing phase to select the best supply partners, and you participate in SQA-standard continuous improvement in Verkor.
Main responsibilities :
- Proceed to supplier selection during sourcing phase
- During the project phase, ensure that Verkor's APQP is strictly followed by suppliers and support them in integrating Verkor processes
- Ensure PPAP validation
- During serial life, analyze suppliers’ performance, drive non-conformity analysis, and challenge suppliers’ QMS.
- Conduct supplier audits when necessary.
- Ensure supplier quality performance during serial life (including warranty and reactivity)
Qualifications and skills :
- Material Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer
- At least 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in the battery or automotive industry
- Experience in supplier audits (auditor certification is a plus)
- Problem-solving, root cause analysis (8D)
- Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS), APQP, and PPAP Management
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, and ISO9001
- Fluent in both English and French
